Perenti’s aim is to serve exceptional beverages with Toby’s Estate coffee, teas, freshly squeezed juices and frappes in a modern and relaxed atmosphere. As a founding member of Essentially Barrington, these locally sourced products are used to promote Gloucester as an upcoming premier food-producing district. Perenti was featured in the 2011 SMH “Good Food Guide”.
The breakfast and lunch menu is interesting and varied, focusing on fresh ingredients & local produce. Dishes from the lunch menu include smoked chicken salad with lemon garlic dressing, layered sweet potato pie, chilli & lime chicken curry and thai fish cakes with our own Perenti sweet chilli sauce.
The cake display is always full of tempting and decadent sweet treats. From petit strawberry tarts, almond croissants, to lime & coconut cake, hazelnut torte and the very popular passionfruit cheesecake it’s hard to choose just one! Perenti also make a range of gluten-free product, vegetarian meals and cater for special dietary needs where possible. Perenti offers a wide selction of handmade jams, chutneys and butters.
And no, we’re not Italian but the perenti (or perente) (Varanus giganteus) is Australia’s largest monitor lizard and you’ll see plenty of those around Gloucester.
